1:22.0 | And what made it special was that it really boldly talked about Chinese politics and the Chinese government. |
1:28.0 | At a time when the government had increasingly cracked down on the internet and free speech. |
1:34.0 | And nobody knew who this author was, which made it almost kind of mythical to its loyal readers. |
1:41.0 | And then suddenly one day in 2021, the blog went silent. |
1:45.0 | And for two years, there were basically no clues until earlier this year when this woman appeared and said, |
1:51.0 | she knew who the blogger was, she was his wife. |
1:54.0 | And I was really intrigued, of course. |
