care of. A lot of people are starving. Now those were the words of Donald Trump. He was speaking to

journalists in Abu Dhabi today. It wasn't speaking to cameras, which is why I'm just reading

you the quote. Marco Rubio has also said he's troubled by what's going on.

We think that the elimination of Hamas is what achieves peace.

We're troubled by the humanitarian situation there.

Of course, those words by both Trump and his Secretary of State massively underestimate,

or understate, I should say, the carnage their ally is doing to the two million Palestinians in Gaza,

and in material and diplomatic terms, they continue to give Israel their full-froated support.

And those who actually care about human rights and dignity are becoming ever more exasperated in their warnings.

So Human Rights Watch have today warned that Israel's plan for Gaza is inching closer to the extermination of Palestinians in Gaza.

Their director said this, hearing Israeli officials flaunt plans to squeeze Gaza's two million people into an even

tiny area while making the rest of the land uninhabitable should be treated like a five-alarm fire
