At this time every year, I come on to give my perspective of the state of the industry.

This is just my perspective.

This is, in some cases, based on some data.

Of course, our industry is so scattered and the data is

few and far between. So not many people, much less companies, have data. L'Oreal does a decent

job of it, but even they struggle to get decent

data in our industry. But going back to October, November of 2023 and throughout 24, we seem to

have had a year when both salon professionals and clients have really struggled to grapple with inflationary costs.

With salon professionals, it's things like products, professional products, electricity in the salon,

insurance, in many cases, insurance has

doubled. These are the types of things that people don't, that a lot of people don't see.
