And today we're talking about the controversial concept of natural beekeeping.

Now, I didn't invent the term natural beekeeping.

Unfortunately, I don't really like it, but it exists.

It's what people know.

And the reason we had waited until the last episode to talk about this is because now that we have discussed all these different aspects of beekeeping, the hives, the workers, the queens,

the drones, even the varroa mites, we can start to put it all together and apply some critical

thinking to beekeeping. Okay, so here's my first silly question of the episode. Is this different

than artificial beekeeping or what? Like, what are we talking about?

Okay, so if you've ever taken like a beekeeping course with like your local beekeepers

association, you've probably noticed that despite the fact that they cover a ton of stuff,

there probably wasn't as much overlap with what we've talked about as you might have

expected.
