One of the biggest misconceptions most people have is we think other people actually care about us. 

 

And nothing can be further from the truth. 

 

People only care about what they care about. 

 

When it comes to sales, it's important to remember, most popelpe are not going to jump at the first offer you make. 

 

And I see so many people run the typical line of "Hey buy my shit."

 

"If you like this, then you'll really like this....it's only XYZ-dollars." 

 

The truth is, you have to be a bit smoother when you're approaching people. 

 

It requires you actually caring enough to take the time to find out what they like. 

 

What they think. 

 

What they enjoy doing. 

 

Why they do what they do.  

 

So how do you build rapport long enough to have a conversation and gain someone's trust, especailly if they're a perfect stranger?
