Hey Tom, this is Steve from Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

I just want to say thanks again for the tips on fly fishing for kind of selective trout that were stocked and a pond by my house.

I ended up having some good success on a small minch pupae so that's

great thanks a lot. I had a question about the an orvis product actually so the looking at a rod for really small streams like

maybe the you know fourth and fifth order tribs that are just tiny little trickles.

They have little small cutthroat and brook shroud here and sometimes

rainbows. But looking at a small stream rod, so I was looking at the super fine glass and the super fine carbon's, maybe the glass in the

7 foot 3 weight and the super fine carbon in the 6 foot 6 3 weight. Not too sure if you have any advice on whether I should go glass or whether I should stick with like a carbon rod or

you know if there's a better rod in the Orvis catalog to go with.

So Steve, the choice of a fly rod is really a personal thing, but there are differences between that glass and the carbon rod besides the obvious six inches difference

which can be a factor but let me let me give you my views anyways and

don't forget you're only getting you're only getting this one person's opinion on this.

You know, you have to make that decision and somebody else may tell you something different,

but since you ask me, I'll give you my opinion.

For one thing I prefer rods over seven feet long even in little tiny streams.
