Summary
Happy Christmas Eve everyone! This episode Katie welcomes back her dear mom Teri. They both are in the holiday spirit thanks to their obsession with Hallmark Christmas movies. Teri can’t help but feel nostalgic for their hometown of Park City Utah because every town in the movies bares a striking resemblance to Park City’s snowy picturesque mountain back drop. Katie and Teri both talk about their favorites and well it may as well be all of them because they all have similar storylines and predictability. Which is why Katie wishes just once Hallmark would “Shyamalan” us and give us a movie with a crazy twist. Not Teri, she likes the comfort and predictability and she’s keen to picture herself in the fantasy lives of the leading ladies. She wants to be the powerful business woman headed back to the small town for Christmas only to break down and be rescued by the hunky local tow truck driver and then go on a whirlwind romance for a week and find herself conflicted about whether or not to return to her fast pace life in the big city or choose the simple life and the love a man in a sleepy little town.
