Summary

This one is a comely little Christie puzzle that is definitely not going to win any awards for ingenuity, but it's pleasant enough to read. And to discuss. Warning: you might not want to sit down to this one with a cup of coffee. Or a rice soufflé. Or any food, really.... (That's not a spoiler: when Hercule Poirot stares at the remains of a meal for as long as he does at the beginning of this story, you know the meal has to be significant.)

0:37.2	Our victim is a gentleman named Count Foscatini,
0:41.1	who is a patient of one Dr. Hawker and a resident of Regent's court and the
0:46.2	count apparently calls Hawker as he lays dying only to be found shortly
0:50.9	thereafter already deceased from a hard whack over the head.
0:55.6	And the people who are discovering the body are not just Hawker, but our old friends, Poiro and Hastings.
1:02.1	Who are the suspects who may have whacked this gentleman over the head?
1:06.0	Well, the primary suspect is one,
1:10.0	Senior Paulo Ascagno. Aiscano. Aiscano. Senior Apollo A Asugano.
1:13.4	Ascagno.
1:15.2	He's an Italian diplomat and he was seen at the Count's flat the day before where he was apparently involved in a very
1:26.1	terse conversation seemingly involving money with the cat.
1:30.3	Right, so our next suspect is a young Italian man who was with Senior
1:34.8	Asconio at the Counts Flat during that TURS conversation and who has now
1:39.5	vanished. We don't really ever learn more about him either.
