Hello and welcome to this week's episode of what most people think.

And I am in that bit of the country where it rained a lot. It's just, it also happened, I think,

on a good weekend where I just felt like I didn't want to do anything. We forget that about

rain. It gives you a good cover to not achieve anything and to have my first soup since about

April. Now, as I bring in my guest here, the brilliant comedian, Ria Lea, making her

first appearance on what most people think. Ria, did you have that kind of weekend with soup

involved? God, no, I hate soup. I only ever got fed soup as a kid when I was ill, so now I

associate soup with illness. Or with love and restoration. It depends which way you look at it.

No, my parents were feeders, and then when I got ill, they'd only give me soup. It was like double cruelty. The best thing about it was the crackers. Do you know what I mean? And it gave me a lifelong addiction to carbs. So thanks a lot, Mom. Just a awful moment there where I thought you're making a racist association with white people was the crackers. Maybe you had some white people that were paid to bring you soup.

Yeah, I'd dunk them head first in my chicken noodles.

We worked together plenty over the years. And just to give our, I mean, I'm sure a lot of our

viewers would have seen you on things such as Mash Report and, you know, hosting Pointless, that kind of thing. But you are, I would say, a woman of the left, but you're also, like, you've done comedy unleashed, you know, you're a liberal in the true sense of the word. You know what? I very much feel like I'm stuck in the middle with you. That's where I feel that I am. I do have, you know, there are things on the left that obviously I very much agree with in terms of respecting people.

And as a woman of color, I've definitely felt the discrimination that comes from patriarchy and whatever other big words you want to use.

But there are times where I am conservative where I do think that the left can get a little hysterical.
