about a boy and how to be good, and among whose screenwriting credits are the film Brooklyn

State of the Union. Nick's joined by the theoretical physicist Carlo Roveli, head of the

quantum gravity research group at Ex-Marcée University, and more widely known for such international

What is your suggestion for a good read?

I've chosen Viv Albertine's memoir to throw away unopened.

Viv Albertine was a member of the Slits punk rock group in the late 70s early 80s,

and she's continued with a career in music. But she's written two rather splendid memoirs.
