That's where we're going to start the show. No 2011-style mad trolley dash or 2017-esque impulse purchases from the bargain bin section for Chelsea this year,

having got their big business done relatively early.

Was there at any point on deadline day that there looked like there might be an incoming

or were Chelsea perfectly happy that even if they were offered

Thomas party or somebody like that they weren't going to try and make a move? No. Well, certainly

for my understanding that there was only one possible incoming that has been written about

for months, Declan Rice, but It got to such a late stage
