It was one of those double-take moments yesterday when I was reflecting upon the podcast,

the beginning of this podcast, and started to realize, are we coming up on five years of KKHI? And I think it's true.

I had to look at the calendar and get it out and say, wait a second. I thought it was like

four, four and a half. What have we been doing here? And I believe it is true that this month we are

celebrating our fifth. I don't know which day. I really don't know which day. I can go back

and look it up, but this month marks five years of Kevin Keatsman has issues, and I cannot thank

all of you enough for being here, most of you here, each and every day. For all of the wonderful

moments that we've had, both in sports, with the Chiefs winning Super Bowls and the Royals being

in the playoffs and all the

great college moments that we've experienced. And of course, in things that matter to us so much,

issues in our communities and around the country, American exceptionalism, and have a couple of

elections or a couple of presidencies with Donald Trump. And it's just been a wild ride. So thank you very much.

It should be noted on this day

that one of the reasons I was thinking about how long we'd been doing this is because I did

something on Tuesday that I've never done before with this podcast. And it has to do with the

patron podcast. And as you know, you listen to the free podcast each day. I don't spend a lot

It's a subscription service. It's $5.99 a month. We do three patron podcasts a week and a newsletter on

the weekend. I think most patrons just love the newsletter. I don't know why, but they do. My mom wants to know how many words a minute I can type because she says it's very long and has a lot of stuff in it. And I said, well, mom, if I want to do a newsletter, let's put a lot of things in it. I have no idea how many words a minute I can type. That's a very, that's a very mom question. I have no clue. We just do the newsletter each week. But

yesterday's patron podcast was a one of a kind. I've been doing them for five years.
