Hi there, tip-off listeners. I just wanted to drop you a quick message to say thank you so much for all your support in the past year. It's been an amazing 2018. The show won Best New Podcast at a British Podcast Awards. I'm still pinching myself about that. And I've had the joy of talking to some brilliant journalists and hearing stories about

suspected Russian-linked assassinations, former rebel soldiers rebuilding their lives in Uganda,

a likely miscarriage of justice in Mississippi, a son looking for answers about his mother's death,

and a story behind the expos expose of the Presidents Club.

So thank you to all our guests for that.

I know it's been a while since our last series and I apologise for that.

I make this show all by myself and have been working flat out on my day job at the Bureau of Investigative Journalism,

working on a big project around how people are

dying homeless in the UK. And I recently got a puppy who's keeping me busy day and night. I know

that sounds a bit like the dog ate my homework, but forgive me anyway. But I'm pleased to say we've

now got some support and help to bring more people on board and the show will be back bigger and

better than ever in

the new year so stay tuned for that oh and one final festive message a group of UK podcasters
