So this is a topic that I think I'm pretty qualified in addressing simply because I've

0:26.3

been in practice for 30 years and I also trained over 2,500 doctors in my methods and this information

0:34.2

is very counterintuitive. It's not taught in schools and it is highly effective as you're

0:40.4

about to find out. So if you have these muscle knots in the back of your neck and you're

0:44.5

in your shoulders up here or your mid back, you're going to like this video. So what are

0:49.7

these knots? Well, they're little balls of contracted muscle and there's so many gurus out

0:53.9

there and so many videos that are talking about. You just need to massage the knot, do

0:59.6

trigger point therapy, use different massage devices to break up these muscle knots and yeah,

1:06.0

it works for a minute until it comes right back. Now out of all the patients that I had with muscle

1:10.6

knots, I think I had the most problem with muscle knots for years before I figured this out. So

1:17.2

massaging these little knots, doing hot packs, cold packs, trigger point therapy, stretching

1:24.4

the knots, stimulating knots, using electric stimulation is honestly, I think, a big waste of time.

1:30.7

So here's what you need to know. Muscles always work in pairs. Now there are a lot of muscles that

1:36.6

work together but they're usually two major pairs of muscle to create motion. You take a look at

1:43.5

your arm, you have the biceps that contracts and the triceps that extends and that creates motion.

1:49.6

Now when we're talking about the back per the neck, that extends the head back and then the muscles

1:54.4

on the opposing side bring the head forward right here. Now if we're talking about the upper

2:00.2

shoulder area right here, you have muscles that bring the shoulder up and you have muscles that

2:04.5

bring the shoulder down and when we're talking about the mid back, we have the muscles that bring

2:10.6

the shoulders backward and then we have these muscles called the pecs that bring the shoulders

2:16.3

forward. So the way you need to look at this is that all muscles have an opposing action. All

2:23.2

muscles work in pairs and they are electrically coordinated with nerves. So anytime you stimulate
