among the 17th titles presently out there, and I think she's going to tell us later there's an 18th coming.

And the books that cover a variety of topics in person, which is the one book we'll discuss during this interview is farewell to justice, Jim Garrison, JFK's assassination, and the case that should have changed history.

Joan, before we get into the meet of this, first of all, thanks a lot for taking some time out to be with us.

And probably the only like moment we'll have in this interview, I just had to say one of the books that caught my eye was Bob Knight, his own man.

And I'm thinking to myself, Bob Knight, Jim Garrison, both six foot five or over.

I'm saying, is there anything about these individuals of stature in more ways than one that

you find compelling subjects?

Well, both of them took a real drubbing in the press. Both of them were presented as demons,

and then when you get to know them, they had in common that they were really very different

from the person that the mainstream press has represented them to be. So they have that in

common. Both were Mavericks. Both

saw things as they saw them and didn't care what anyone thought went ahead with what they

thought was right. They have a lot in common, actually, aside from being tall.

But they were lightning rods without a doubt and not timid than whatsoever. And I hope, obviously, they both had the courage of their convictions, which I think you're

telling me they did.

That's right.
