In the sequel to Lace Hulstrom's 2017 feature A Dog's Purpose, the film brings back the continually reincarnated dog and follows his adventures through multiple lives filled with love, friendship,

and devotion to his human family.

A Dog's Journey is Ms. Mancuso's feature film directorial debut.

Her television credits include the movies for television so close, Nice Girls

Don't Get the Corner Office, and the IT crowd, the pilot for the series Your Family

or Mine, and episodes of the series Roseanne, Don't Trust the Bee in Apartment 23, Rules

of Engagement, Cougar Town, 30 Rock, Gilmore Girls, Darmat and Greg, Friends, Ellen,

and The Nanny. She is a three-time DGA comedy series award nominee for episodes of Modern

Family. Following a recent screening of the film at the Harmony Gold Theater in Los Angeles,

Ms. Mancuso spoke with director Anne Fletcher

about filming a dog's journey. During their conversation, Ms. Mancuso discusses the long pre-production

of the film, the decision to shoot anamorphically and the issues she had to consider, and why she

felt all her department heads had to have a connection with dogs.
