And Katie Benderwin is here today to talk about her latest.

She's an L.A. based director who works in long-form narrative documentary.

And her latest is Tarazi, a three-part docu-series,

one of the most iconic women's basketball players in history.

That would be Diana Tarazi.

It premieres on Prime Video August 7th in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.

Someone who's covered with women's basketball for a long time,

and obviously it's done a lot of women's basketball on this podcast. I'll be very curious to see how in particular WMBA audience takes this in and how they react to what is absolutely the most in-depth look at Diana Tarazi who didn't always let people in in terms of the places she did in this documentary. media podcast. Thank you so much for having me, Richard. You got it. All right. We'll start with

the broad overview kind of questions for someone in your position. How did this project come to you?

I was coming off Matilda's, which is a Disney Plus series, which was following the Australian

women's football team in the lead up to the 2003 FIFA World Cup. And I was very ready for my next

project to be something that was a little bit more character

driven. So it was being very, very picky with what was what I was going to do, you know,

what I was going to do next. And so when my agent came to me with Tarassi, I was pretty surprised

because I personally didn't know a lot about Diana.
