I guess my question is exactly what Jackademic asked is, why are you here?

You know, like, I'm not mad that you want to do things a different way.

But what is very curious is, why are you here fighting with me when you don't have to?

Like, you know you don't have to be here.

Not only is there issues among patients questioning us. There's even issues among our own

colleagues where you have your own colleagues who are questioning vaccines and certain

that we do have. It's a major problem because I've seen that. I've seen that if you have one person on and they believe certain things that are specifically related to like anti-vax or anti-establishment type things. You bring that up to a patient. That person goes off service. You come on and you talk about tried and true practices, standards of care and all these different things. Now all of a sudden, they don't trust you.

That scares me more than a patient coming in and just refusing to get care, actually.

We've got some news about a Houston doctor being suspended after he allegedly was found to test positive for cocaine while he was performing surgery.

Yeah.

Yeah.

So this doctor, I don't want to say his name.

I don't think he needs to have his name out there, but it's already out there.

But his doctor, basically urologist performing surgery while on cocaine.

And it's crazy.

It's all over the news.

I have a lot of different thoughts on this from obviously the first thing is patient safety.

Also to, you know, how we treat surgeons or how we treat doctors in general who have substance abuse.

Substance abuse issues also, right? And for me, I'll always land on the side of you got to make sure

that things are safe for your colleagues and you also make sure that things are safe for the patients.
