Summary

Jimmy Carter passed away yesterday. And EVERY American, no matter their politics, will say Carter was a man of decency. Donald Trump will be sworn in as President in a few weeks. And EVERY American, no matter their politics, will say that Trump is a horrible human being. What does this tell us? It tells us that because our politics is broken, Americans feel unheard. And because they feel unheard, they'll knowingly vote for a horrible person who they think heard them. And sadly, decency no longer matters.
