At first, it seemed like an unthinkable tragedy. A devoted husband and father lost too soon.

But as investigators peeled back the layers of his untimely death, a darker, more sinister story began to emerge, at the heart of it was his

wife, Curry Rich Inns, whose actions before and after her husband's death raised more questions than answers.

Eric Rich In's autopsy revealed a chilling detail.

His death was caused by a lethal dose of fentanyl,

a synthetic opioid so potent that just a small amount could kill.

But Eric's dose wasn't small.

It was five times the lethal amount.

This finding immediately shifted the case from a

tragedy to a suspected crime. Investigators began to piece together a timeline, uncovering a series of

actions by Corey that painted a picture of premeditation. In the weeks leading up to Eric's death,

Corey reportedly sought fentanyl from multiple sources.

A key figure in this narrative was her handyman, William Hayden Jeffs, who told investigators that

Corey had asked him to procure fentanyl for her. Jeffs, an ordinary man drawn into extraordinary

circumstances, described how Corey's request felt urgent and deliberate.

Tragically, just weeks after giving this statement, Jeff's died in a motorcycle accident,

leaving his words to be contested in court without the benefit of cross-examination.

The timing of his death, though officially ruled accidental, added another layer of complexity to an already intricate case.

Jeff's wasn't the only person Corey allegedly approached.

Court filings revealed that she had also asked another employee, a housekeeper to help her acquire fentanyl.
