0:36.5	Last week you traveled to California to attend a tech conference hosted by our Investment

0:42.1	This month, you're also bringing the Board of Directors to
0:44.7	San Francisco as part of the firm's annual meeting. Why are you spending so much time out there?
0:49.5	Why does California matter so much to Goldman Sachs?
0:54.0	Well, we help finance growth and we source it and we like to think we contribute to it and one of the
0:59.8	places that are growing the most new businesses are in the area of technology and that's
1:05.8	you know the major a major not the only one but a major locus of that technology and innovation
1:11.2	is in Silicon Valley and its environs.
1:14.0	So if you want to be relevant and influential in that part and you want to make a contribution,
1:18.0	you better spend a lot of time there and we do.
1:20.0	And so we have a lot of events there, We try to convene groups and draw in our clients
1:25.9	who are very often the CEO and the creators and innovators behind these new technologies.
