We realized at a certain point we had a platform as a family.

My father has always been a voice for peace, inclusiveness, and that came also for my grandparents

who grew up in what they knew of Palestine. What Palestine was was an all-inclusive place

where they were all living in the same community and no one thought anything different.

This is a place where all religions

were created basically. So they were all living there happily and peacefully. So that's what we

want to like reinforce in the world and show people look at us and they don't think that we're

Palestinian. So I think it's also important for us to say, no, no, we are. And maybe you have a skewed view of what you think Palestinians look like, act like, or are.

I'm not saying anything against anyone by saying I'm proud to be Palestinian.

And I think that that's a misconception.

Us being proud to be Palestinian isn't anti anything.

You know, I think that that's something that people really need to

understand as well.
