0:43.2	how to pray with Brother Lawrence. I've been looking forward to this session, and our approach today is I'm going to be coming to Jim for spiritual direction, this ancient art of spiritual
0:50.7	direction where you come to a teacher or someone ahead of you on the path for

0:57.7	And so in a way, I'm playing the role of Joseph of Beaufort.
1:02.2	And Jim, you're playing the role of Brother Lawrence.
1:05.4	Also, the role that they played, we're now playing that same role as us.
1:12.9	And the listeners are playing it as them. You know, it's being carried forward into our lives. Yes, exactly. Beautiful. Well,
1:19.7	I'll hand to you, Jim, just to set the context for our approach. One of approaches from the
1:25.0	standpoint of offering guidelines in reading Brother Lawrence, but also all the mystics, is guidelines for Lexio Divina, which is spiritual reading.
1:35.5	And in one of the earlier sessions in the podcast, we did, we go the second on Lexio de Vina as a ladder to heaven.
