as a Christian. If you're like me you're watching what's happening around you and

you might have a very opinionated view of what you ought to or ought not do or you might have a more nuanced view.

And I get asked these questions all the time and I want to give you a set of simple principles

that I'll help you to navigate what your responsibility is, which our role is as Christians, in an election year.

The first one, simple principle.

We have a duty and an obligation in a right to vote, to get in the game.

I know there are people a couple of years ago or four years

ago the last election for president who simply said I'm not going to vote at all.

I don't see a candidate that I like so I'm not going to vote. Look there are people

in the world in a number of different

cultures that don't have the opportunity to vote. Their country is such that they

don't even have any representation. They would love to have the opportunity to

We take it for granted, right?

I mean, the number of the percentage of people in the country who voted all is, to me, shockingly low.

There are times when you think, hey, you know what, I don't think I'll have a candidate that I really want to get it. There are times when you think, hey you know what I don't think I have a candidate
