Hi you guys welcome to this episode of House of Kim. Okay well we're going a little crazy over here with Corona is I think that's actually an understatement. I think we're going crazy. I think the kids are going nuts. I think yeah I've always had a lot of respect for my kids teachers because I always knew that I could never be one and I also always knew that like me being a state home parent wasn't really who I was.

Either so I just respect the teachers so much but honestly like 10 times more than I even did before I always spoil my kids teachers I think they're phenomenal.

I just yeah but this is like a lot I kind of decipher between what's the difference between like this and a summer like your kids are home during the summer like it's and it doesn't feel as stressful or or you're not able to go out you know and that's different but we're not a really a family that goes out too much we spend a lot of our time here we do a lot of activities here and and and we have a game room a basketball court things for them to do.

I bought them nerf. Okay well let me just tell you like I just one of the reasons it's you know but so I but I think.

Don't let me cut you off I won't forget I know what you're going to say but so I I think it's just the stress of the situation right it's it's the you.

And I have my period thank you for the next week or whatever I had it for a few like the period and the stress of school then the ladies you know you know even like if we had to homeschool for whatever reason or a snow day or or it's just so much different because of like the fear and kind of the tenseness of the situation we have to be worried about like everything but there's always something new every single day though there's always something new coming out with Donald Trump speeches there's always I think it's always a lot of things that I'm going to say.

I think I think this zoom go ahead with your you know and there's just there's an old saying you know control what you control and and so and worry worrying about something you can't control is is wasted worry you know and and so I think we can really maybe help the situation become more normal or a little bit more more easy to handle if we try not to worry so much about things that we just say.

We just don't have control over you know if you can disinfect something that you bring home whether it's groceries or or take out food do that but you got to let the outside world let it play out you know and try not to have that stress come into your family and into your home because it's going to make it's going to make an already tense situation just that much more intense so that was kind of my observation in the in the last day and a half or so is that trying to figure out why.

Why it's just so crazy and it's obviously because this is a crazy situation but I think having to be on zoom at you know 10 a.m. with the kids and you know KJ and cash are on at 10 the twins are on at 11 cash has more homework than the twins and KJ put together and cash is the least interested in school so it makes it tough.

You know Kaya is not as interested either KJ works on his own.

Kane we're going to get into what happened to him and all that good stuff but I mean I think it just and it's a lot on the parents the I don't I help them with their work but Croissants signs them up for zoom like today we're having issues with zoom we kept getting kicked out.

Oh because it's so flooded there's so much stress on that system I read about some shit about zoom just now on the news you guys under Trump's not speech but whatever.

So underneath it said that zoom or whatever had sold everybody's information or something is that true yeah there is there their privacy policies are very lacks so you know be where I think we're it's a time where we just got up we got to do we got to do and we pray that a company.

Approaches this situation with the appropriate ethics and it doesn't do something stupid but you just you don't know so be aware that your information is not quite as secure as it would be on something like face time or.

Another platform that offers video conferencing but we've tried to make it as normal as we can and to distract the kids from the the tenseness to kids feel it they they know something is going on KJ.

Cash and the twins are asking all these questions and they walk around the house and saying you know my football doesn't have COVID or you know or coronavirus and and so they know too and so they're trying to find some normal see in this and so came the other issue gotten some toys that resembled cardboard.

I ordered nerf nerf forts or nerf tents or whatever you want to call it like so these so the kids have tons of Nerf guns that's what they love to do and have these battles and stuff so I thought oh well I was kind of looking online and I figured well it's going to be a little nerf cardboard and they're not cheap you guys honestly but these cardboard like ones a big 10.
