Bruce, we have convinced our colleague Ralph Russo to come back yet again this week.

Maybe we gave him a better NIL deal.

I don't know, but he's back.

And we've got a big big slate of games this weekend in college football. We've also got yet another

Super League proposal that we need to figure out and Ralph wrote a really good feature

on Diego Pavia, the Vanderbilt quarterback so we will get into all that with him now.

How's it been? How's the first week on the job?

It's been, it's been great. As I kind of, you know, mentioned last week, like the things that are a little difficult to adapt to are more

like process and protocol as much as the job itself but honestly like that stuff you know

that stuff snaps into place

rather quickly especially you know it's tough to make a transition at the busy time of the year on one hand but because you're in the busy time of the year

everything comes at you fast and you have to sort of and it may be in some ways makes it a little

easier to learn on the fly so So yeah, it's been something.

All right, so you had a busy first week. I don't really care about your HR issues or any of that stuff or

but you did hit on what I what was the biggest story of the

of last week and that was Vanderbilt shocking upset of Alabama and the star of

all stars of the weekend, Diego Pavia, is a name that if you're a

diehard college football fan, you're very familiar with him.

But to see him on that stage and shining and taking this left for dead SEC program to the

mountaintop at least for a weekend was really interesting and especially the person and the family behind this.
