Don't look at me in that tone of voice.

Some of you are acting like who would pray that way.

I hear prayers like this all of the time and the reason that I was teaching on prayer

during this weekend is because this is

our National Day of Prayer last Thursday and I can guarantee you there were millions

of Christians around this nation pleading with God for mercy.

God, don't judge America in a sense doing what Moses was doing right here.

Turn from your fierce wrath, repent of the evil that you've thought to do.

And somebody says, well, isn't that scriptural?

I mean, that's exactly what Moses did.

Absolutely.

But that's before Jesus came.

And now there's only one mediator between God and man,

and that is the man Christ Jesus.

If you attempt to pray the way that Moses prayed right here in Exodus chapter 32,

then you are anti-Christ.

You are against what Christ has done.

You are thinking his mediation wasn't enough

that I also have to plead in turn God
