The meeting is set. I'm Lisa Lacerra. Fox News. President Trump set to me with China's leader Xi Jinping in South Korea in a couple hours, with tariffs set to beat the main topic.

It's the first time that President Trump and China's Xi have gotten together since President Trump put tariffs on the entire world, basically to make a point that everybody was getting ripped off by China.

He says that he has a good relationship with Xi.

We will see exactly what kind of a deal they can get to.

But we know that President Trump and his team are eager to do something because he said that he thinks, he said while he's been here in Asia,

he thinks that it is better to get along than to keep fighting.

Fox is Peter Jusie and South Korea. Treasury Secretary Scott Besson posting on X that after

the meeting, the U.S. will make an announcement that he says will be a resounding victory for U.S. farmers.

Besson said earlier this month that he expects China will begin purchasing U.S. soybeans again after buying none last month.

Secretary of War Pete Hexas says the U.S. military carried out another strike on a boat.

He says with carrying drugs in the eastern Pacific, killing four people on board.

Writing on X said intelligence determined the boat was moving along a known narcotrafficking route

and carrying narcotics. At least 23 people have died in Haiti and four in Jamaica.

After Hurricane Melissa roared through with a category five storm yesterday.

The storm now headed toward Bermuda.

Forecasters stayed a week into a category one by the time it comes ashore there.
