We've got an early look at next year's draft. I'm really going to put the screws to Mr. McLeod. I'm going to make him figure out who the top five first basements, five shortstops, and top 10 pitchers are going to be in his ranking. So early read on that. Actually, just a fun way to talk about players. And then we're going to do some odd stats and i could have tim i could have done dozens of

these some things that go wow i didn't realize that so so i think we've got a fun show plan for

everybody yeah i i think so too uh yeah and you know when you talk about odd stats okay

every day almost i'm reminded there's a new stat out there I'd never heard of.

Oh, really?

Okay.

Or a new, yeah, you know, if somebody has hit successfully against left-handed,

a right-handed bat has hit successfully against left-handed pitching in Dome Stadium's

on cloudy days.

You know what I'm saying.

There's always somebody is always coming up with some new explanation for what if,

why, and when, right?

And that's just what the game is.

It's a pile of numbers.

And you can sort them, slice them, price them, dice them in any way you really want.

I've heard that Tampa is starting to look at platooning players.

Tim, based on if a sinker ball pitcher is going, guys that might hit low ball pitches better than high ball pitches, and then vice versa.

I'm thinking, oh, my goodness, we've taken it a bit too far.

Well, you know what?

At that stage, okay, basically the manager in Tampa Bay is there to defend his players
