Well, Nicholas Reynolds, what a pleasure it is to speak to you.

Of course, you're the author of Writer, Sailor, Soldier, Spy, Ernest Hemingway's Secret adventures. I think this is just a wonderful book. I really

want to get into this and I have to tell you right at the start, I'm a fan of Hemingway's.

I, his bravado, his legendary manliness, his almost strident Americanism values, his

toughness, his colorful side, all of that contributed to this sense of myth and I know that many of my

listeners are fans too I gather you are a fan as well so given all of that how did a

book like this even come about?
