Welcome to the perfume room. I am recording this live from my hotel room in Paris. And honestly, you know what? Oh my God, I just got a Charlie horse. This is why I cannot record sitting on a bed. I don't have a desk here, so I'm sitting on my bed and I just got a Charlie horse. Should I keep this in? I don't know. If it's in the episode, you're welcome. Okay. Listen, Paris is going to need a solo episode. I have smelled so damn much and I have smelled it all for you.

I mean, really for me, but to discuss with all of you. So you know what? There is going to be an Emma and Paris episode. It will happen. It's not going to be today because we have an amazing guest today, but it's coming. I am thriving here. I'm living my best life. I am practicing and often

failing in my French, smelling and buying all of the Paris exclusives, and I'm just so excited to

share more. Here's what I can share with you, which is my scent of, or should I say sense of the day.

And right now, I have like eight things all over my

body anywhere I had skin I was like put it on me but there are two things that I can smell the

most strongly right now because they were what I put on last so I will tell you about those two

and the joke is on me because I was like okay you're going to Paris only smell things that sell in France. Don't smell things you can get in the United States. I thought I was giving you guys two fragrance recommendations that either aren't in the U.S. or are hard to come by in the U.S. And then I looked and these are both sold on Lucky Scent. So if these recommendations sound great to you, you can order samples right now. These are not exclusive to France. But on my left wrist, I am wearing Caswell Massey Orchid, and on my right, I am wearing Headspace Absinth. So Caswell Massey Orchid is a very green, herbal, sweet, floral fragrance. It opens in a very honeyed, sort of rosy way, and as it blooms, it gets green and dewy, a little ozonic with a subtle herbaceous undertone. It's a little bit like sticking your nose in a lilac bush, but sweeter. And it doesn't smell like lilac, but that sort of green, heady floral feel. And my verdict is I really, really like it. I liked it in nothing store to spray on my

skin. But here's what I will say. And I know you guys are like, Emma, shut up about this fragrance.

But I would say that La Perla once upon a garden, yes, I am bringing it back up again, is a very

comparable genre. And between the two, I have fallen head over heels for Once Upon a Garden.

So I think I prefer that one.

That is not to say you should not smell orchid.

Really, really pretty stuff.

Now, on my right wrist, oh my God, I, so luckily I don't have to decide if I want to buy this while I'm here because I can get it at Lucky Scent.

But Headspace Absinth might be my favorite absinth fragrance I have ever smelled. The

wormwood in this is so warm. I feel like there's got to be some iris in here. Definitely

Galbanum, which is kind of comparable to the smell of wormwood in many ways. There might even

be some subtle sparkling aldehydes in this one, but it is really, really warm.

And if I'm still dreaming of it next week, I am going to be buying a bottle.
