Once upon a time a Greek writer named Homer put pen to paper in a work of composition. He told a story, a story of great warriors and a mighty city, a story of kings of treasure and of the workings of great gods who played roles in the drama of human life. It was a grand story, you may have heard of it.

It's called The Iliad.

The Iliad features a number of references to Egypt and its surroundings. Most notably the tale of Memnon, warrior of Ethiopia, who came with his warriors to aid the Trojans in their fight against Greek aggression.
