Welcome back to the podcast. My name is Joseph Clough and this is episode 944. Now in today's episode,

0:25.6

it will be a pre-talk, you could say, for the following episode, which is going to be a hypnotic,

0:33.1

meditative journey for letting go of overthinking from anxiety, worry and doubt.

0:40.3

So use this as your opportunity to get some of the conscious learnings that once you absorb,

0:50.3

we can take that into a hypnotic experience. That's how I'm trying to work out with the

0:56.1

podcast and the YouTube and so on. So we kind of get both levels from the conscious to the

1:01.6

unconscious and it will give you some things to do in the conscious waking state. And then we can

1:07.3

do the deeper work at the unconscious level using a meditative journey.

1:12.1

And on top of that, if you are a subscriber to the app, you'll get the bonus sleep version

1:18.0

and the four hour sleep version, which I've already recorded. And on top of that, you'll probably

1:25.9

get two alternative day sessions.

1:31.3

That's going to be an extra bonus I'm trying to aim for.

1:34.4

One will be more hypnotic and one will be more journey-based ultimately.

1:40.9

So that's where we're really looking for just to test things out. So with that,

1:45.9

let's kind of dive into this idea of how we can start to be more detached from our overthinking.

1:54.7

Usually overthinking is out of our control. It sounds weird because you are overthinking, but it's not like you're

2:03.0

consciously deciding to overthink. It feels like, oh my goodness, this has popped into my mind,

2:08.4

now this has popped into my mind, now that's going to a different direction, now us evolving

2:13.0

into this scene of what could happen, what might happen, and before you know it, your mind is running

2:20.4

away with it and it's hard to get it back on track. So the first thing that I always suggest is to

2:27.8

be conscious. Notice when it happens. Not, and it's trick, don't give me wrong, it could be a little bit tricky in the beginning

2:37.0

because it is an unconscious process.
