And the idea that parenthood is meant to be this Pinterest worthy showcase of your abilities and your willingness is a lie that society has sold to us in a way that can often make us feel as if we aren't ever fitting the mold.

I was actually at Chick-fil-A yesterday and there was a mom with four kids and I could tell she was really frustrated and she was just stressed in her tone and in the way that she spoke to her children.
