I'm going to join up with my sisters here and we're going to create new policy changes that are going to drive

bottom line change in the world. The big changes we want to see, like the green movement and taking care of the environment and making sure that children have their needs met.

You know, these are the things women have always cared about throughout history.

And now we're realizing we're actually capable of leading these movements and more

and more women are running for office as well, which is another fantastic reflection of seeing

Kaya, are you using your talents doing work that you love? So much so. Yes. Wonderful.

Kai Alexander is an award-winning author and filmmaker. Her novel, written in the

Ashes, is the untold story about the burning of the Great Library of Alexandria, Egypt,

and the life of Hippata, the world's first female mathematician and philosopher. Her new

documentary film, Chalice, Women's Leaders Rise, explores how and why women

were written out of history, how this has influenced the treatment of women globally, and the

exciting rise of women leaders today. Her mentors are American novelist, humorist, Tom Robbins,

the late comedian Gary Shanling, a mystic misfit and pagan

surfer. She is proud to be the B in LGBTQ. Well, Kaya, that's a summary of your career.
