Sometimes there are scene breaks, and instinctively the author has just had a scene in

scene break, but I don't look for a scene break to identify where a scene is personally,

because I'm looking for value shift. When I'm trying to identify when something of value has changed

from beginning to end, that's when I can conclude if a scene has happened. Versus a beat level,

if there's a change in tactic or a change in how a character is approaching something.
