Babes here to give you the news? Tell you a little story. Today's story is a story that nobody

asked for, but I'm telling you anyways because guess what? It's terrifying. It's also something

I don't want to be alone with. I don't know, be alone with the things that I've heard, the things

that I have seen. It takes a lot for me to want to do an episode on a ghost story, but this one, for sure, it just

sends me for details and pictures from the episodes you can follow along online at Cult Leader Podcast. I'm

Now, Cult Babes, whether you are a believer or a skeptic or somewhere in between like myself, this story is

wild. Next week's story is very murder focused. Last week we had Nexia with the Cult, so I was like, okay,

this week I'm going to do a good spooky ghost story, and I am going to deliver. This case was

actually the inspiration for the conjuring two, which I'm a big fan of that film franchise. I'm a big

fan of Ed and Lorraine Warren, who I will familiarize you with later on. They actually weren't as big of a

part of this story as the movie makes them out to be, but you're all a bunch of weirdos. You probably

know all about them. The story takes place in Infield, England in 1977, and it goes down as one of

the most notorious paranormal stories to date. Single mom Peggy Hodgson had rented a home at 284

Green Street with her four children, Janet, who was 11 years old, and is kind of like the star of

today's story, and then 13 year old Margaret, 10 year old John, and 7 year old Billy. On August 30th

of 1977, around 9.30 pm, Peggy hears her daughter coming down the stairs. Janet tells her,

mom, I heard a noise upstairs. It sounds like the beds are moving, so she follows her back up

stairs into the kids bedrooms, and is like, hey guys, you know, time to go to sleep, but they tell

her that the noise is coming from a dresser near the door. She looks over, and that's when she sees

...
