You see every one of these Old Testaments preaches the gospel of God's love, his grace, his presence, and his power that he

unwillingly exercises for the good of his children. Well, the title for our next study is My People.

This is Exodus 3, 7, and 8.

Then the Lord said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people who are in Egypt,

and I have heard their cry because of their task masters. I know they're suffering. And I have come

down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians and to bring them up out of the land to a good

and broad land, a land flowing

with milk and honey, to the place of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Amorites, the Parasites,

the Hivites, and the Jebusites.

Thank God said to Moses, here's the reason I am talking to you from this bush.

I've seen the afflictions and suffering to my people

and I've come down to deliver them. Notice how God describes the Israelites. They weren't just

Israelites. They weren't just people in a foreign land. They weren't just slaves.

They were God's people.
