I've been really sick recently, dealing with damages from the hurricanes, you know how

insurance companies be, 100 people in and out the house, taken forever, and they

really help me get this episode out for you guys. So enjoy this extra long video of a bunch of

My dad was a great guy. He was strong and kind. He thought about others before he thought of himself. He lived a good life, but his body and mind eventually failed.

At the same time, my mother, who was also one of the most incredible people I've ever met,

was diagnosed with cancer.

They told her that she had between six months to two years, depending on how well

she responded to chemo, how much rest she could get, and et cetera. After a few months,

it became clear that my mom couldn't take care of my dad, as he was prone to wandering off,

and I could only help so much as I have a daughter

who has special needs and had been through one heart transplant and would eventually need a

second. Well, I decided that to give my mom and dad the healthiest, safest, safest life,

we would need to put my dad in a nursing home.

I felt guilty as we had never discussed his wishes before he got sick.
