It is our Just Prospect podcast as we continue our way working through the top 15 prospects for each team in baseball.

We have finished half of the teams.

We are on team number 16 entering the

American League East and that is of course the Baltimore Orioles and it is a very very strong system

particularly on the hitter side just counted it up 11 positional players and four arms.

There's clearly grace and Rodriguez has a chance to be one of the better pitchers in the league.

D.L. Hall, who has better overall stuff, is hurt, has never been able to throw strikes.

And then there's a couple of guys late in the system.

So it is light on pitching.

And if you watch any Orioles game, you know that they desperately need pitching.

They've got some decent hitters in the major leagues.

They've got obviously Ruchman coming up and some other guys.

So I kind of like what they're doing from a positional standpoint.

I have no idea how they're going to solve their

pitching woes. As we've seen with the, it sounds like Max Scherzer is going to be signing with the Mets.

Most of these really high-end players of free agents, they're going to sign with the big teams.

And Baltimore is not a big team.

So, and I'm not sure how much money Baltimore is going to be willing to pay, which is

odd that they're thinking about trading their top pitcher.
