And today we are talking about the Washington Nationals and they're just okay system.

It's a lot better than it was because the trades they made for Tray Turner or Max Scherzer really added a lot of depth to the system.

Plus two excellent prospects.

One is no longer a prospect in Josiah Gray.

But if you include him kind of as one of the young players, they got two very, very good players

and Gray and Cape Bret Ruiz, the catcher, who had some time in the big leagues and looked

solid.

So I think both of those guys will pay dividends over the next couple of years for the Washington

Nationals.

But it goes south pretty quickly.

They've got a long way to go to build up that system.

And I'm not sure I'm not sure I really understand what they're doing.

They probably don't either.

They've got Juan Soto, who is obviously a franchise player, but he's got two

years left before he goes to free agency. Scott Barris is his client. The Nationals have a long

history of doing deals with Scott Barr's, but Scott Barris has a long history of taking guys to

free agency. Now, if they offer him a half a billion dollars, will he stay?

I'm assuming yes.
