And today we are talking the Philadelphia Phillies.

It is the 22nd of November.

It's about 10.30 in the morning.

Usually I do not record podcasts on Monday, but because of the holiday,

I've decided to go ahead and punch these things out. Both the Phillies and the Washington

Nationals, they will be published and available on iTunes and all the distributors later on this

week for your listening and enjoyment, but wanted to go ahead and get these out.

So, without further ado, let's talk the Phillies.

I guess in general, when I started doing the Philly system as I was beginning to ask

questions with people and started doing some stat research, et cetera.

Am I going into it, I wasn't all that thrilled because the Phillies the last

couple of years have not been very good.

And maybe it was because my expectations were so low that once I dug into it, I actually

was fairly pleased by what the Phillies are doing.

Either it's not a strong system by any stretch.

I mean, we're not talking a top 10 system, but it's not, it is not incredibly light on talent.

There's definitely talent in the organization.

Now, have they been able to really develop that talent recently and get those guys to the big leagues?

No.
