| 0:14.0 | So I wanted to create a relatively short video on things that you can do to improve |
| 0:20.0 | and inflamed colon. |
| 0:22.0 | So whether you have some type of irritable bowel syndrome or diverticulitis or |
| 0:27.0 | Crohn's or Ciliac, here are the most important things to focus on. |
| 0:32.0 | Number one, this is the obvious one of avoid gluten and grains for that matter because this |
| 0:38.0 | protein, gluten, can really tear up the inside part of the lining in your colon. |
| 0:45.0 | I would also avoid dairy because chances are if you have inflammation in the colon, you |
| 0:50.0 | probably have allergies and casing in the dairy is one of the top allergies that people |
| 0:58.0 | have. |
| 0:59.0 | And so if you do dairy, it's going to also create inflammation. |
| 1:01.0 | So we want to avoid anything that you have an allergy to. |
| 1:05.0 | Number three, limit the amount of vegetables. |
| 1:08.0 | If you have an inflamed colon, you're going to have altered microbiome. |
| 1:14.0 | So you're not going to have the balance of friendly bacteria in your colon. |
| 1:18.0 | That means that when you consume the vegetables and you get the fiber, those microbes are |
| 1:24.0 | going to get overwhelmed pretty easily. |
| 1:26.0 | And that is going to create a lot of bloating. |
| 1:29.0 | So you definitely need to adjust your vegetables way down to the point where you have no more |
| 1:35.0 | irritation in your colon. |
