Hamas's armed wing is claiming responsibility for an explosion in Tel Aviv.

That claim came just today after Israeli officials had declared it a terror

attack which happened last night. Israeli police say the attack killed the person who was carrying the explosive material

and moderately injured a passer-by.

Meanwhile, medical officials in Gaza say seven people, including six children, were killed in an Israeli

airstrike yesterday. All this comes as Secretary of State Antony Blinking is in Israel,

trying to get a ceasefire and hostage release deal despite resistance.

CNN's Nick Robertson has more from Tel Aviv.

For Secretary of State Anthony Blincken, this is high stakes and the moment he sees that the deal he believes is in

reach and should be done. It doesn't really seem to match the reality here on the

ground. President Herzog when he was meeting with Anthony Blinken earlier

spoke about the blame needing to be put on Hamas.
