Hello from CNN, I'm Joe Beck, with the five things you need to know for Thursday, May 30th.

The jury will carry on deliberating today in former President Donald Trump's hushmoney trial.

But first, they have some questions.

They've asked to have testimony read back to them

about a meeting between Trump, his former fixer Michael Cohen,

and the ex-National Inquirer boss David Pekker.

The jury also wants to hear the judge's instructions again after he laid out the 34 charges

Trump is facing. A reminder, Trump is accused of falsifying business records to cover up hush money payments made to an adult film star to stay quiet about an alleged affair ahead of the 2016 election.

CNN's Karis-Ginnell lays out what the judge told the jury yesterday.

He explained that to find Trump guilty, they must unanimously find that he falsified business records

with the intent to violate New York State election law,

promoting or preventing the election of a candidate to public office by unlawful means.

The jury does not need to be unanimous about what those unlawful means are.

Trump has pleaded not guilty and denies the affair ever happened.

Secretary of State's Anthony Blinkin is signaling that U. could change soon to let Ukraine use American-made

weapons to strike inside Russia.

As what Russia does has changed in terms of how it's pursuing its aggression, escalation. We've adapted and adjusted

Western allies are reconsidering how to help defend Ukraine against the Russian invasion.

Just this week, France and Germany said Kyve should be allowed to use their weapons against targets
