After four days of speeches from high-profile Democrats, the DNC will culminate with Kamala Harris's highly anticipated

acceptance speech tonight.

And although she's been Vice President for three and a half years, her advisors tell

CNN Harris views her acceptance speech as quote her

introduction to America in her own voice. Last night her running mate Tim

Wall's introduced himself as the party's nominee for Vice President,

while other prominent Democrats like former President Bill Clinton praised Harris.

So in 2024, we got a pretty clear choice, it seems to me.

Kamala Harris, for the people, and the other guy who's proved even more than the first go

around that he's about me, myself, and I.

Meanwhile, leaders of the pro-Palestinian group Uncommitted national movement

have started a sit-in outside the DNC

after party leaders denied them a speaking slot.

The group emerged to protest US support for Israel's war in Gaza.

Now that uncommitted movement did praise the DNC's decision to give the parents of an American

Israeli hostage the chance to address the convention last night.

We know the one thing that can most immediately release pressure and bring calm to the entire region, a deal that

brings this diverse group of 109 hostages home and ends the suffering of the innocent civilians in Gaza.

Meanwhile, some family members of the hostages are frustrated by the lack of progress towards a deal and they say they'll boycott

the Israeli government's commemoration of the October 7th attack.
