More cracks are appearing in President Joe Biden's support to run in November's election.

Michael Bennett is now the first Democratic senator to publicly say he believes Biden can't

win after his disastrous debate performance last month.

It's critically important for us to come to grips with what we face

if together we put this country on the path of electing Donald Trump again. Bennett stopped short of calling for Biden to withdraw from the race, though.

Biden does have public support among some leading Democrats, like Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer.

As I've said before, I'm with Joe.

While others, like Congressman Pete Aguilar,

are being more cautious.

Let's see the press conference.

Let's see the campaign stops. Let's see all of this because all of it is going to be

necessary. That press conference Aguilar mentioned is a solo one

Biden is holding tomorrow near the end of the NATO conference in DC, where people will be watching

to see if he can show vigor and mental clarity.

Over 100 million Americans are under heat alerts this morning. Extreme temperatures

continue to bake the West as well as parts of South Florida, the mid-Atlantic, and the

northeast. CNN meteorologist Derek Van Dam has more.
