Hello from CNN, I'm Joe Beck with the five things you need to know for Monday

September 16th. We're learning new details about the man being held in connection

to another apparent assassination attempt on former

President Donald Trump. Authorities detained 58-year-old Ryan Ralph yesterday after a man was

seen with a rifle at Trump's Florida Golf Club while the former president was playing.

A secret service agent spotted the gun and engaged the man,

leading to shots being fired and the man escaping in a car before he was stopped on the highway.

Ralph has been critical of Trump on social media and has been very vocal about his support for Ukraine.

I ask CNN's Claire Sebastian what we know so far.
