records in a row set for warm temperatures in 1939 and let's check with the old newspapers

to see if we are in a panic.

We just went through an experience here in the Twin Cities where we were all told to

be in high alert and alarm because it was very warm.

On the newspapers for the 1939 date, September 13, which is today, there's nothing except

in the little weather column on page, I believe it was page 18 that just says, unseasonably

high temps will hit today, that's all it says, there's nothing on the front page.

But then again, this was all sort of the time when the Nazis were going absolutely crazy

and making everything so it might have taken up the old front page.
