and he'll have 45 minutes to get a contract signed, and life is good, right?

Yeah, I mean, it's got 30 days, but if there's a lockout on the first, which is,

I mean, I think at this juncture, Timmy, it's almost assured. I mean, anything can happen. But he's got a sign in nine days. Otherwise, he's got to take the risk that they're going to give him an exception, which he can't do. He just can't take that risk. Well, no, especially in light of the fact that his team has never posted in anybody.

They weren't real keen on posting him in the first place.

This will be their first posting.

So if he doesn't get something done by the end of the month and the lockout occurs on December 1st,

my guess is he's back in Japan next year.

Yeah.

I would think that his representatives have already talked with teams, and they know there's

nothing that prohibits him from his representatives from talking with teams, right?

I mean, there's no law that prohibits that.

So he should be able to have those conversations.

I'm sure he's got it down to the short list.

Probably fly over real quick or do some Zoom calls and zip zanz out.
